This secure area has a special safety surface where the children can negotiate space successfully by running, jumping and playing games whilst at the same time learning to respect other children’s personal space.

The Outside Play Area also has a large covered area which enables it to be fully utilised all year round and where the other areas of the curriculum can also be experienced.

The Nursery also has a small garden area where children have the opportunity to dig and plant flowers and vegetables and experience the pleasure of watching things grow.
