2 to 3 Year Old Children

Here the younger children can experience a programme of activities and games, including the use of a computer, to foster concentration, listening and communication skills. There is a library of books, plus jigsaws and construction toys to help increase manipulative and fine motor control.

3 to 4 Year Old Children
The 3 to 4 year old children’s Quiet Room offers a gentle introduction to the more formal pattern of learning. New knowledge can be absorbed through story books, pictures, interest tables, jigsaws and picture and word matching games.

Drawing and colouring activities plus small construction toys also gives the children the opportunity to develop their fine motor skills.
